You can source multicast MP3 streams using the RTP protocol.  The
company I work for has 3 such channels.  If you browse the SDP
announcements there are several others as well.

The standard MPEG-Audio payload type is 14, though Ross Finlayson has
done work to improve this.
See RFC 2250 and RFC 3319.

Currently DSS won't stream these.  Quicktime won't play them either,
though this is a known bug.  Contact me offline for more information.
