I've got this problem but have got only 1 interface: 0 (en0). No Airport (yet :-). Localhost works for other stuff.

For the curious, the problem is that during the initial set up phase, the web admin attempts to restrict the set-up to network interface 0 (en0) on the local machine.
Machines whose "localhost" maps to network interfaces 1 (en1) and higher
will fail because of this.  Machines that are using Airport usually have
localhost mapped to interface 1 (en1).
