Hi,
I have compiled the DarwinStreamingServer-Preview 4 (v405) for Solaris 8
(Release 10/01, Intel-Platform).
After doing the first step in WebAdmin (new admin-user, new password) I
got the message: "Error 500 - Error running password application."
I was very surprised because the ./Install-script installed the qtpasswd-
application in /usr/local/bin correctly.
I compared my build of DSS 405 with the QTSS-PublicPreview4 on MacOS X and
moved qtpasswd from /usr/local/bin to /usr/bin on my Solaris-machine.
After doing that, WebAdmin works and I can use it.
Where or How is WebAdmin looking for the path of qtpasswd?
(The PATH-env on my machine contains /usr/bin AND /usr/local/bin).
A bug in WebAdmin or in ./Install? How can we fix it?
