QT Broadcaster & dual firewire sources

Hi Folks:

I'd like to create a mobile encoding setup with a Titanium G4 & Broadcaster. I'd like to input audio using a Metric Halo audio interface, feeding digital audio, via firewire, into a Cardbus PCMCIA firewire card; and DV video, via firewire, into the firewire input built into the laptop. (The Metric Halo is ASIO 2 compliant.)
My question: will it work? Can broadcaster see two firewire streams -- one video, one audio -- as possible inputs, or does it have to see audio and video on a single firewire signal? Or will it see firewire video and USB audio (something like the Ediron UA-5 USB Digital Audio Capture)?
Anybody doing this on a G3/G4 laptop?

Thanks,

Rich
