Re: QuickTime Broadcaster streams to WMP or Real?

You cannot feed stream to Real and WindowsMedia from QTSS with QTB.
Simply, codec and file format for Real and WindowsMedia are imcompatible with MPEG-4 live stream which QTB generates.

Even EnvivioTV plug-in doesn't work for MPEG4 of QuickTime6.

For on-demand contents, compression with Sorenson MPEG4 with simple profile setting works for both QuickTime Player and Real Player with EnvivioTV plug-in.

I am streaming very low bandwidth live audio using the QualComm Pure Voice codec in QuickTime Broadcaster. After the SDP file is created, I'm able to listen to the live stream just fine on QuickTime on a PC or Mac...but...I can't get the stream over Real Player or Windows Media Player...is there any way to adjust my settings so that other media players will recognize my SDP file?
