The first problem will be USB: even if your video was limited to 8 bits depth per pixel
the data rate will be 4 megabits per frame. Choose your frame rate ;-)
You may have problems running both Broadcaster & Streaming Server on
the same box, and a minimally specified box, with all due respect.
I have been taking notes here to convince management about the hardware budget,
where our subject matter is musical performance pedagogy, and fullmotion is needed.
Dual G4 1G 768M ram, cpu usage indicated in Broadcaster window:
15 - 25% each for 128kbps stereo 44.1 khz audio only;
35 - 40% each, above plus 25fps 320x240 video;
Single G4 800mhz 768M ram, audio + video as above, 65 - 75%
Single G3 800mhz 320M ram, as above, 97% and frame rate drops to less than 7 fps
In all cases the video input is via firewire from dvcam.
