Re: Broadcaster Problems

A couple of suggestions:
1. Make sure you are running QTSS 4.1 or later (4.1.3 is the latest)
2. Create in the QTSS Web Admin (under General Settings) a Movie broadcast user and assign it a password
3. Enter that same Movie broadcast username/password into your QTBroadcaster network settings

I am trying to perform an automatic unicast from a b&w G3 to qtss running on an xserve. Both are running the most current versions of the os and quicktime. When I try to run the automatic unicast, receive an open transport error (-3285) from broadcaster. I believe that qtss is configured properly as accessing the sample files works just fine. I am suspicious of broadcaster. Any ideas?
