Hi,
DSS does not serve native MP3 files on-demand, but you can export them as
hinted QuickTime movies in order to serve them on-demand. Native MPEG4
movies are served on-demand from DSS, as long as the files have hint tracks.
If you're doing web development and want to learn more about serving QT
movies via the web, you may want to have a look at the tutorials at:
http://www.apple.com/quicktime/tools_tips/tutorials/
Some of the "Delivery Tutorials" will help you understand how to serve
movies on-demand via the web.
