Nope - that has always hampered the wide spread adoption of QT. We live in a
world of 3 streaming methods: REAL, Windows and QT. I believe the other
formats do, but QT will not serve out multi-bit rates from a single stream.
From what I have seen the dropping frames that QT does is marginal.
