Re: MP3 Tag Problems



Hi Joel,

Sure enough.  As soon as I mounted the remote
volume, used iTunes to change the version of
the ID3 tags to v2.3, and restarted the play-
list, the artist and title information got
displayed correctly.

Now, it will display this:

Let's Stay Together - Al Green

as opposed to this:

01-Let's Stay Together.mp3

All of my .mp3 files are currently tagged
with v2.4, but this is a minor inconvenience
to me since I always convert these files to
a lower bitrate for streaming anyway.  While
I look forward to a fix (whether it be on
the server or client side), I am just happy
to have a workaround.
