I've tried to stream a hinted mpeg1 file with no success, though the sample
files (e.g. sample_300kbit.mov) all work fine with rtsp://server/filename in
QT6 player.
The setup is as follow: Linux 7.2 box running DSS 4.1.2, QT6 player running
on Windows 2000. After hinted the mpeg file, I upload the mpg and mov to the
media directory and then open the URL with rtsp://server/mymovie.mov, but the
player shows "requested data" in the status window, then after awhile, "-5408:
Time out". Did I miss anything?
