Thanks for the advice,
By doing this, it is giving me a 404 - Object not found.
This is probably because I'm not streaming on Port 80, I'm streaming on Port
554.
When I hit "Auto Configure" it tells me it's going to stream on Port 80
because UDP cannot be recieved.
Are there any other suggestions?
Thanks,
Brandon Miller

Probably you are behind a firewall.
Go to "Quick-Time Preferences" , choose "Streaming Transport" and choose the
http (80) option, or click "AutoConfogure" button.
It should work then . . .

Subject: DSS problems on Win2k
I'm a rookie user of DSS and have it set up on a Win2k box.
Everything seems to be running great, and I can stream my .mov files
internally without any trouble.
The problem occurs when I try to stream to another client outside the
network.
This is what I've tried:
rtsp://216.190.139.114:554/firefly_reel1.mov
I'm getting the message "requested data" and then the time out error -5408
Can anyone help? It would be greatly appreciated!
