I am booting DSS manually. First launching it by using the following commands... /usr/local/DarwinStreamingServer/DarwinStreamingServer /usr/local/DarwinStreamingServer/streamingadminserver.pl
Yes, those ports should be open, but I'm not 100% positive. I do know that port 554 and 8000 are open.
Are MP3 files hinted by QuickTime Player Pro or by something else?
If you are using example files from Apple included in DSS originally, that's
not going to be the problem and we have to think of another cause.
