Router and Quicktime Streaming

I can't figure this one.
I'm running OX 10.2 and OS 9.2 classic on a G4. I have a Macsense MIH-130A router.
I can get UDP streaming to work using Quicktime 6 in Classic but cannot in Quicktime 6
in OS X 10.2. The OS 9 QT will work through the router but the OS X will not.
Does it have something to do with OS X?
