Do you have a Web server running on the same server? Perhaps your
Transport setup in the QuickTime Client is set up to access HTTP on
port 80, in which case the request might be handled by your Web server,
and it would be generating the 404 error message since the file isn't
found in its document root...

Hello everyone. Can someone give me a possible explanation as to why I
get a 404 error in QT player for an SDP file. I know the file is
there on
the server because I can see it in my FTP client. But every time I
try to
open it I get a 404 not found error.
This file was created on a QTSS 4.1 machine running Jaguar. The file
was
then copied to another server that is QTSS 4.0 and NOT Jaguar. It is
on
the latter machine (the one the file was copied to) where the I get
the
404 error.
Thanks
