Basic QTSS Troubleshotting

I'm trying to set up QTSS on a brand new xServer and can't seem to get
even the basic samples to work. I think I have the server set up
properly? I can log into the admin interface through my browser:
http://10.0.0.11:1220/

Under general settings, I have the Media directory set to the default
setting which is:
/Library/QuickTimeStreaming/Movies

I checked to see if that location exists and it does. The sample files
are there. SSL administration is turned off. Max connections is set to
1000, Max throughput is 100 default authentication scheme is set to
basic and start server at system startup is enable.

I've tried testing my setup by going to a client computer (OS 10.2.3
w/Quicktime 6) Choosing Open URL in new player in quicktime and
attempting to open the link that's detailed in the directions which is:
rtps://10.0.0.11/sample_300kbit.mov

The error message I get is:

Couldn't open the file "sample_300kbit.mov" because a software
component needed byt the movie could not be found.

When I look at the admin screen, it says "Server is Running". The
Broadcaster is turned off (not sure if it should be on or off???)
For Port Settings, I've tried enabling and disabling streaming on Port
80, shouldn't matter since I don't have a web server running.

I have error logs and Access logs enable, but can't seem to get any
thing to show up in the logs.

Could somebody please help me? The QTSS admin guide doesn't seem to be
very helpful. At the end of the section entitled "Testing your setup"
it says:

"QuickTime Player connects with the streaming server, a window appears,
and the movie plays if the streaming server is functioning correctly."

Well what am I supposed to do if it's not fuctioning correctly? Any
help would be greatly apprectiated. If you could point me into the
direction of a better help resource on the web that would be great too!

Thank you! Pat
