You can get QuickTime 5 Pro by ordering a copy of the book "QuickTime for the Web." It includes QuickTime 5 Pro for Macintosh and Windows. More info at:

You may be able to export to a hinted movie from other tools that support QuickTime. For instance, cross-platform compression tools such as Sorenson Squeeze (http://www.sorenson.com/) and Discreet Cleaner (http://www.discreet.com/) export hinted movies and provide high quality batch compression. An inexpensive alternative is a Mac OS product called QTBatchExporter (http://www.channld.com/qtbefaq1.html - $24). iMovie will export hinted movies for streaming. Other editing tools like MovieWorks do as well.

hi there
i m working on a project related to live broadcasting & i m using QTSS
broadcaster & configured it well. I need Quiktime Pro for exporting &
hinting movies. i m in INDIA & unfortunately it is not there in the
'choose ur country' option on the 'buy' page of the apple/quicktime page.
