hi! got qtss, broadcaster and os x (client) 10.2.3 all working with a local loopback address, eg: rtsp://127.0.0.1:554/sample_300kbit.mov nice! my adsl came along last week and i've been trying to stream out onto the web. no joy. i've turned off apache and enabled streaming on port 80 in qtss prefs. when i type: rtsp://mp_ip_address:554/sample_300kbit.mov nothing... so i tried: rtsp://mp_ip_address/sample_300kbit.mov no joy. so i checked my firewall, turned it off and tried again. nothing... spooky! the only thing that strikes me as odd is that in the qtss admin it says the server name is 'jakewilliamson.demon.co.uk' rather than my ip address. i've tried this in the url but again, no joy. any tips out there lads and lass's?? cant see why it's working local and not out there on the web? cheers, jake _______________________________________________ streaming-server-users mailing list | email@hidden Help/Unsubscribe/Archives: http://www.lists.apple.com/mailman/listinfo/streaming-server-users Do not post admin requests to the list.
