Rick,

Is your QT player set to receive the streams the same way the QT server is sending them i.e. HTTP (TCP) or RTP (UDP)? If not, i'd try that. If so, i'd see if there was a firewall or NAT between you and the server who is perhaps not letting the data through.

 I just tried to get qt server to run, it runs fine, but it somehow doe
 not show my quicktime files, either when i punch in their urls or when
 i trie to create a playlist, it acts if there are no files there. Any
idea how to solve this, i am not using port 80 for quicktime server as
 i run webstar on that port.
