Re: Streaming from Mac > See on a PC not on Mac

Since you've now turned on Personal Web Sharing, this is causing a conflict
over port 80.

My guess is that your PC is set to use UDP Streaming Transport (554) (in the
QT preferences on the client machine), and your Mac might be set to
use HTTP Streaming Transport (80).

Two work-arounds:
1) Switch your Mac to use UDP Streaming Transport (in the QT preferences), or
2) Keep using HTTP as your streaming transport, but just put a :554 into the rtsp url:

   rtsp://qtss.ip.addr:554/sample_56kbit.mov

So I'm streaming and hosting from my Macintosh DP 800 doing a multicast and

So here's the irony... I can tap into the stream on a PC but not on a MAC.
How funny is that! Any ideas of what I'm doing wrong. I can settle for
viewing it only on a PC, but I really really want it on a MAC.

Thanks, Aaron
