Re: Changing the admin password

The Streaming users are stored in /etc/streaming/qtusers. To change the streamingadmin password, as the Unix root user you need to run 'qtpasswd' and reset your password like this:

   root# qtpasswd streamingadmin

(where streamingadmin is the name of your Darwin Streaming Server's admin user).

If you aren't sure what username is your admin name, then look in this file:

   Path:  /etc/streaming/qtgroups
   =======================================
   admin: streamingadmin

(the first name is the group "admin", the second is the name of the administrator)

how I can rest the password of the admin ? There is very little
documentation about that - or I have overlooked that part. Could
somebody help me out with that ?

Thanks in advance !
