Request for User-Configurable Latency Parameters

Apple:
Based on feedback I've received to my query to the QuickTime list, I'm not the
only IT director who can see the benefit of introducing QTS into organizations
as an inexpensive alternative to a video conferencing system.
QT is intended for one-way broadcasts only though, and the way to bring it
closer to being a video conferencing system (that includes audience audio
feedback) is to turn off audio transmission at the QT Broadcaster and instead
use already-existing teleconferencing phones to provide the audio to and from
the individual(s) being transmitted over the video stream.
Turning off audio at the Broadcaster should throttle back the network traffic
and processor compression usage enough to produce the real-time video stream
needed to match or at least come very close to matching the movement of the
individual being broadcast to his or her voice heard over the phone when
experienced at a participating audience PC. Please make this possible by
allowing us to change the latency settings in Broadcaster. We are willing to
accept the loss of frames that may or may not occur because of it.
