Wireless Router Configuration and DSS

I am trying to use a wireless router to allow a live broadcaster to roam
around an area using a wifi tibook and DV camera while streaming to the
Internet. When I connect the tibook directly to the dsl modem I average 600
kbps data rates and get a great stream, the dsl service has a 650 kbps
upload speed and 3 mbit down. When I try to stream through the wireless
router QT clients on mac and pc hang after 2 or 3 seconds and real clients
have very bad audio. For ease of testing I have been using a mp4 file
created with qtpro set to stream at medium dsl.

Here is the set up:

DSS on a g4 tibook with a dv camera attached via firewire
Server set to use port 80 with max speed set to 700kbps and max connections
set to 5

Built in airport 802.11b connection to a linksys wireless router.

WAP is turned off
DHCP is turned off
I have opened up all the ports in the router as well as placed the tibook in
the dmz (but would rather use port forwarding if possible)

The Tibook has an internal ip of 192.168.1.100

The DSS shows the internal ip name for the server.

Would it help if I changed the dss config to name the server the ip that is
assigned to the router from the ISP? Are there solutions for using dss when
the external IP is dynamically assigned and not static? Given that I can get
this whole configuration to work without the router I am sure the issues are
related to one or more of the following:
Wireless protocol
Router/NAT
Dynamically assigned external IP

Any help is greatly appreciated

Greg
