Immediate Time Out After DSS Install

I installed DSS with no errors. The DSS Admin site on port 1220 works just fine, but when I tried to stream one of the sample movies, I get a "-5408 Timed Out" error. The logs show that it served up that movie. I can't seem to find anything in the archives or on the web that explains this error. I've searched and searched and I've hit a brick wall. What could it be?
