Please help me...RTSP/RTP problems

Hi Everybody,

I am working on a project in streaming audio.I have
implemented a RTSP/RTP client to stream .mov files
which are basically hinted mp3 files. The
implementation has been down in Linux and C.I am using
darwin as the server.I have the following problems:

1)darwin shuts down the transmission to the client
after 2 minutes. Is this problem got anything to do
with RTCP packet transmission from the client to
darwin. Is RTCP important for the implementation.I also
wish to know whether I should implement a mechanism
for receiving the SR sender packets from darwin.

2)I have periodic skips in the local file which has
been downloaded.I would appreciate it if any one could
tell me whether it is due to a partial RTP decode.I am
able to listen to the music though with the skip.I am
getting payload types of 112.is that the Quick time
pay load type and should i implement some specific
decoding algortihm based on this type.

Please help me,
Thanks In advance,
george
