I have set up a web site with "how-to" information focused primarily on QuickTime/Darwin Streaming server:
http://soundscreen.com/
I hope this site will provide a good resource to folks on this list. A lot of the topics covered were created to answer common questions posted to this mailing list.

George, great job!
I've been thinking how the majority of the questions asked have already been asked and answered already, but how the answers are so hard to find! And how there must be a better way to run this mailing list, and the QuickTime -Talk one.
Although I don't know how, but maybe like http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/index.php?act=idx or http://forum.doom9.org/
That is, keep it one list run and sponsored by Apple, but split it up into a major topics, without letting members create new ones, which would lead to confusion.

We have all these slick interfaces and programs these days, but mail lists are still stuck in the early days of computing. Maybe Apple has a cool cross-platform internal tool it uses that it can share with the rest of the world?

In the meantime, you've done a great job and thanks! This will be an invaluable resource.
