what he probably means is the mpeg2 video codec..
that is an add on to QT..

and you dont use that for streaming..

I have a question... I was informed by someone who is in the music
industry that QTSS does NOT include the MP4 "module"... that it is an
optional add on that I can purchase. Anyone know anything about this?
I'm under the impression that everything that you need is already
there.

It works just fine for me, but this guy is certain about this.
