Sorry I can't give the details you asked in the previous post, I've downgraded to QTSS 4.1.3 as part of another problem solving exercise: why the latest patch to Internet Explorer allows it to override auto-proxy scripts and kill QTPlayer. WinXP clients reporting various non-connection errors, but nothing in my Error.log :-(
