streaming admin overwrites changes

Hello!

I'm working at getting dss working on a machine using port 80. I'm also
setting things up so that apache doesn't interfere, meaning that I'm using
the 'bind_ip_addr' directive in the 'streamingserver.xml' config file, and
will be setting up apache to use ip aliasing and all that.

Anyhow, I just noticed that when I used the dss admin interface to change
the Port Settings ( "Streaming on Port 80" ), that it overwrote what I had
changed to the 'bind_ip_addr' directive.

Is that normal behavior?

Will this happen everytime someone configures any of the settings through
the admin interface?

Thanks,

Corey
