Re: Newbie in Quick Time Sreaming Server

So, my question deals with the Quick Time Streaming Server general
settings and specially with the Default Authentication Scheme:

What is exactly the default authentication Scheme???
And What are the differences between the two options "Digest" and "Basic"???

Digest encrypts passwords on the wire and provides MD5 checksums. Basic transmits the password in clear text.
