Re: Darwin 3GPP streams (now live)

Hi list,

We successfully streamed live and on-demand 3GP streams from various live 3GP encoders to a bunch of Sony Ericsson phones using the latest DSS build (5.5 / 479). Thanks for the tips!

Unfortunately the Nokia phones failed the live streams (but did show the on-demand 3GP streams). Any tips on tweaking the streamingserver.xml file so we can also support the RealPlayer that's built into these phones? We already added the line below.

We've got positive results with Popwire and Nextreaming encoders. We also tried QuickTime Broadcaster (latest version) on Mac OS X 10.3.7, but none of the phones supported these stream so far. How do we setup QuickTime Broadcaster to be 3GP compliant?

We even tried relaying an Axis 210 network camera MPEG-4 stream :-) This works technically (multicasting to DSS and relaying to QuickTime Player via a modified SDP file) but unfortunately Axis doesn't support the right MPEG-4 and 3GP profiles (yet?) so we don't see any video...

Frits.
