QuickTime Broadcaster is not likely to drop streams unless something
else is wrong like network issues or
congestion between the server and QuickTime broadcaster
It might not be broadcaster related problem
I like Wirecast http://varasoftware.com its a much cooler application
and If you try the demo for free and it drops streams then you
can start re-evaluating your configuration.
