Problem streaming sample movies

I finally got the administrator tool working. It required following
about 3 or 4 different suggestions I got from the dev list AND I had to
switch from Fedora Core 2 to Red Hat 9. I will summarize my results for
the list in another thread. But now I'm running into another problem.
Maybe someone can save me some time as I scan through the archives
(which I've been doing with no hits).

The problem is this - I can access the server and the movie from an XP
client in Quicktime using "rtsp://192.168.1.103/sample_100kbit.mov";.
But it doesn't play very well. I see the progress bar move normally as
if it's playing. Most of the time it's a blank screen, but sometimes I
see a part of a picture or a burst of sound. When I monitor the Admin
Server for this stream, I see the % packet loss fluctuate. Packet loss
would account for the symptoms I'm seeing. But I wonder why? The
server and client are behind the Firewall/Router and I have enabled all
the ports on the server side (do I need to enable the ports on the
client side?). I don't have any other significant task running on the
network.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Chris
