mixing Live & premade A/V clips & Embedding rtsp

<x-tad-smaller>Hello,
Somewhat of a novice here - I run a college internet radio station that was well set up before me ( by sweetSusan Jacobson, from this list). I am trying to turn this into more of a Broadcasting center and want students to be able to mix live radio/video with premade audio/video streams.
I have been playing a lot with Wirecast...seems interesting, dont know how mixing Live in with premade is yet but...
aside
1) we are running QT SS 10.2, so I can't really even begin to manage playlists. But in Panther Server or what we know of Tiger Server, will this become easier - managing live and playlisted audio/video? I dont really want to confuse the students by running two types of software
Also
2) Is there some trick to embeding the rtsp file in an html page? We run the Radio QT Bcaster to a QT SS and yet, most of the college is PC and cannot download any players other than the bundled WindowsStuf and some computers respond to some things (quicktime, or real player embeded) and some will attempt to show a player Only if I offer an external link to bring it up separately.
