Re: RTSP over HTTP Tunnel Port

I'm curious why you would want to do this?

The idea behind HTTP tunnel is to go through secure firewalls on the standard HTTP port 80. Doing anything else defeats this purpose. If you want to run on a different port, it is more efficient to run RTSP since the stream overhead is lower than an HTTP tunnel.

Stream Efficiency in Order

1. RTSP UDP
2. RTSP TCP
3. HTTP TCP

Is it possible to change the tunnel port for RTSP over HTTP from the
default 80/tcp? If so how? Running DSS 5.0.1.1 on lInux.

Thanks
