Hi All,
We're just trying to get some optimal encoding settings for Broadcaster or
Wirecast use with QTSS. Any recommendations on:
- Codec, Quality
- Size
- Audio Quality
- Frame rate
- Packetization?
- Using iSight versus real DV camera
Settings/Hardware Used:
Apple G5, iSight, 320x240, MPEG-4
We've had limited success with 320x240, with the image breaking up, or never
reverting from the "green pixel haze" of the first image. The preset for
160x120 works fine, but that is far too small for our purposes. "Canned"
QuickTime movies are streaming fine.
Any recommendations on hardware encoders would be welcomed as well.
