a question

Hi,
Maybe nobody knows whats going on, but I'll try
anyway.
I am using DSS, but most likely this is not the server
problem. Still, maybe somebody knows the answer or
where I can look for one.
In the book QuickTime for the Web it says that one can
add streaming media to a fast-start movie.
So, I open the URL of each streaming media (a total of
3) in QTplayer, copy the part I want, create a
streaming track, paste it into a fast-start movie, and
do the same with the other two movies. So I get an
image (from my fast-start movie) and then a sequence
of 3 streaming movies. When I try playing this either
in a QT plug-in or in a QT player, it appears to be
rendered just fine if I do not use playback controls,
but if I use them in the second and third streamign
tracks, the whole movie just stops and says
"buffering".
The website where these movies are is:

http://altiplano.emich.edu/~tanya/QuickTimeStreaming.html

If somebody knows what it is, please let meknow!

Thanks!

Tanya
