Most of my streaming has been from pre-recorded movies
which has worked well.
However, while trying to solve my previous problem
(DSS can't launch Broadcaster)
I decided to try QT Broadcaster on its own, to verify its
functionality. Tried a simple unicast between 2 OSX machines
(firewalls off) If I open the SDP file on the viewer machine
it connects to the Broadcaster on the other machine OK.
BUT....
All I get is the QT logo and the message"connecting" and then "ready"
with
the little dots moving from left to right. If I go to
the Broadcaster machine and open the file locally in QT player,
all is fine and the stream is played.
Any help appreciated. Right now I have no
way of doing any live streaming :(
