Problem starting DSS 5.5.1

I have installed DSS 5.5.1 on Windows Serever 2000 but when I run the install.bat file I get the following error after it has asked me for admin name and password..
 
ActivePerl 5.8.0 or higher is required in order to run the Darwin Streaming Serv
er web-based administration.
Please download it from http://www.activeperl.com/ and install it.

Perl is not properly installed on your system.
This installer requires Perl to run the Streaming Admin Server.
 
If you wish to use the web admin user interface to configure Darwin
Streaming Server, you will need to perform the following steps.
 
See the readme file on installing Perl.
Please make sure the path to the Perl interpreter is in your system path
and run
 
c:\Program Files\Darwin Streaming Server\streamingadminserver.pl
 
The thing is I already have Perl version 5.8.7.813 installed and I have no other problems with other applications that needs Perl to run such as the open source program AWStats
 
I can for example run the Perl file "WinPasswdAssistant.pl" and get the option to enter admin name and password but when I run "streamingadminserver.pl" I get the following error message

I have no problem what so ever to start the server from "Services" under "Administrative tools" but I can't access the admin interface via http://myserver:1220
 
Please help.
