Hi,

DSS streams a PLAYLIST directly by itself (broadcasting recorded contents --> SDP file).

If you want to stream live contents (webcam/LiveTV) you need a QT Broadcaster to serve the content to the DSS and them being streamed by DSS --> SDP file). Other solution is to use VLC as broadcaster.
