RE: Major sync problems



Sorry that last email didn't hit everyone on the list.

There is no way to do it without re-exporting in someway, it at least
looks like you are not recompressing the file. If someone could confirm
that it is actually not recompressing that would be great.  In QuickTime
Pro it gives you no compression settings when you are re-exporting which
makes be believe that it is just recreating the hinted tracks.

You can also do this by making a little app in automator or applescript
to do the same process.

Cleaner for Mac can also do the same thing, it doesn't work with the PC
version.  You can turn off the option to compress the audio/video in
Cleaner and have it set to just recreate the hinted tracks.

Call me "completely missing the obvious" but how does one do this,
rehint without reexporting?
