| Hi, This may sound like a dumb question, but i'm wondering how I could stream multiple audio sources to my clients. I already set some darkice encoders, streaming to icecast deflectors. This is fine but the stream is a progressive tcp base mp3 stream. I would like to be able to stream using rtsp. The solution seems to be to use DSS. I set a DSS server on a Solaris 10 box. It's working great (but you have to do the install thing by hand :) I tried to stream from my itunes to the DSS server using nicecast, which is working great too when listening from itunes (but it does not work when using VLC...). My questions are : - will DSS take the stream from darkice ? (I'm pretty sure it will, it's just a matter of testing it). - How to configure DSS so the stream is UDP/RTSP based instead of TCP/HTTP ? Should I create a .sdp mylself ? Thanks. |
