i hope theres a fix
for my problem, dont want to setup a windows/mac only for
this.
ok, i've downloaded
the binary for linux from apple.com and installed it. before, i apt-get
libstdc++6 and created the group "qtss"
the install finished
without problems, server is running. cause theres no other server installed
"all" ports are open, no firewall, nat-router or something, directly connected
to the net.
now, if i try to
access rtsp://<serveraddress>/sample_300kbit.mp4 using quicktime (on
windows client) it starts reading some data. serveradmin shows that there is a
client listening to sample_300kbit.mp4
BUT the video/audio
doesnt get played, after a while the connection is closed (quicktime client).
someone told me to apt-get ffmpeg, it could help ... but i
didn't
i've done the same
on windows 2000 prof and here everything works as intended, i can stream/watch
mp4-files, etc. so i thought i need quicktime on linux but after installing some
libraries with "quicktime" in its name the problem is still
present.
i already googled
for a solution but i coulnd't find one :(
greetings and thanks
!!
Ben
