I know that to some of you sounds simple but to me
seems difficult. I am trying to setup a streaming server using Darwin Streaming
Server. I am using Windows 2000 Proffesional SP4. I 've allready installed
ActivePerl-5.8.8.819 which -as i have read while searching for information in
the internet- is necessery for the administration of the server.I 've downloaded
the latest version of the DSS (5.5.3) from http://developer.apple.com/opensource/server/streaming/index.html.
The size of the exe is 2.97KB. Is this normal? What to i do with .exe. Executing
it opens the command promt, and does absolutely nothing. Shouldn't the exe be an
installer of a program of the server or something similar? Any help would be
appreciated as i am new in the field.
Alex Theodorou.
