If you've installed from e-build (look for it on gentoo forum along with installation guide for it), you'll have to start web administration with separate startup script ("dss-admin" if I recall correctly).
Work very nice for my gentoo server on x86.

Hello,
I compiled and installed DarwinStreamingServer on my Gentoo. It starts, but when I try to access the admin website
(http://localhost:1220/parse_xml.cgi?filename=setup_assistant2.html)
there is no response - the browser if forever witing.
Do I need to compile in a special way?
Does anyone have any pointers?
