No worries...to be clear, I like and use Linux.  I don't see Linux users
rushing to a proprietary, single-source, closed-source player, though, and
for those users MPEG-4 is a better choice for the forseeable future.

Sure, I agree, but I wouldn't block it since even my school page is in that 
format (and they are supposed to be linux supporters :( ).  However, maybe I
