after finally having received panther - I tried to use it's integrated vpn client to connect to our schools wireless network instead of the cisco solution. unfortunately it didn't work.... :-( so I decided to try and make it work... and therefore I'm looking for some good information about vpn and how it's integrated into panther and stuff like that... I tried to get the information on the developer site - but couldn't find any useful information. Anybody out there who could give me some hints on where to find it?

Same situation with the wireless network at my university. The reason it doesn't work here is that the Cisco client uses some proprietary authentication method (group passwords and stuff) which Panther's built-in VPN doesn't understand, and I'd imagine the same would apply in your case. Short of implementing support for those group passwords in Pantehr's VPN I guess there's not much that can be done about it, unfortunately.
