Re: build buttons getting stuck in xcode

Yes, this is quite a common occurrence. There are several threads on the Xcode list about this. Some people manage to get temporary solutions by changing the preferences (setting Close build window to Never), but it seems to always return soon after. I haven't seen any solutions so far (I have the same problem).

Not sure if this is a known issue, but the build buttons are getting stuck in xcode. Not every time, but about 80% of the time. I can't seem to get the pattern, but usually its when there are more than 5 errors or so. I can't clean, build, etc.. without closing the project window and reopening it. THis also occurs when I select Build, Build and Run, and build and Debug either from the menu or by clicking on the buttons. The build actually stops, since gcc isn't still running. It just looks like the UI gets stuck. Anybody else get this? I'm using xcode 1.1 (clean install from cd) and 10.3.2.
