Intel is just a company name; Pentium is just a brand; neither lay claim
to the architecture itself (which is why AMD CPUs also implement the
x86 ISA).
In the most general sense it's called i386. That's because it's
the least common denominator as far as the instruction set for the CPU.
There's also 486, 586, 686, et al., with each one having additional
capabilities and, thus, a different instruction set. There's no 1:1
correspondence between the CPU name (386, 486, etc.) and its ISA.
I believe a Pentium 4 is classified as i686.
