Hi,
I don't really know where I should ask this question, so I'm posting
here (hope it's not too much out of topic).
After I installed Mozilla 1.8b on my system with Mac OS X 10.4.2 I found
Finder reporting all files with extension ".dylib" as "Mozilla Shared
Library" with a custom icon instead of the blank document one.
I think this lines in Mozilla's Info.plist file are related to that:
<dict>
<key>CFBundleTypeExtensions</key>
<array>
<string>shlb</string>
<string>dylib</string>
</array>
<key>CFBundleTypeIconFile</key>
<string>component.icns</string>
<key>CFBundleTypeName</key>
<string>Mozilla Shared Library</string>
<key>CFBundleTypeOSTypes</key>
<array>
<string>shlb</string>
</array>
<key>CFBundleTypeRole</key>
<string>None</string>
</dict>
I deleted them from the Info.plist file but dylibs didn't turn back to
be common Document files. What's wrong with that? How can I make dylibs
appears to be common documents?
TIA,
